Contradiction Diary

A private reflection exercise for noticing the tensions we live with in AI-mediated work and life.

What is an existential contradiction?

An existential contradiction is not simply a problem to be solved. It is a human situation in which different demands pull us in incompatible directions.

We may feel pulled between efficiency and dependency, care and exhaustion, responsibility and survival, creativity and skill erosion, productivity and meaning, or adaptation and self-betrayal.

The purpose of this diary is not to remove contradiction immediately. It is to help you name it, understand its pressures and ask what responsible agency might look like within it.

Name a contradiction you are living

In the future, this page may link to an EUSurvey form where participants can voluntarily contribute anonymized experiences for research on existential contradictions, AI and meaningful work.

That future form will include an information sheet and consent statement before any data are submitted. No experience will be collected through this page without explicit consent.
